Arielle Katzel
Arielle Katzel, Family Engagement Coordinator
Originally from Lower Merion, Pennsylvania, Arielle Katzel came to the DC area in 2000 to attend The George Washington University where she earned her Bachelors degree in History and a Masters degree in Elementary Education. Arielle has prior experience as a synagogue Youth Director and will be starting her 9th year working at B’nai Israel where she has had several positions over the years including: Bonim Advisor, Toddler Time Teacher, Religious School Teacher, and one of the leaders of the Torah for Tots service. She is also the proud Mom of two sons, Julian who just graduated from the B’nai Israel Schilit Nursery School and Zavy, who will be entering the 3’s class in the fall. This has given Arielle the opportunity to meet many families and kids of all ages at B’nai Israel.
Arielle is passionate about planning events to engage the entire family and can’t wait to start her new role as Family Engagement Coordinator at B’nai Israel.
