Avery Sudow
Avery Sudow, Communications and Development Director
Avery Sudow has focused her career on integrating fundraising goals into overall brand strategy for non-profit and political organizations. Prior to joining B’nai Israel, Avery served as the Endowment Professional and Marketing Manager for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). While there, she developed and implemented the strategic marketing, communications, and stewardship plans for The AIPAC Tomorrow Campaign, the organization’s planned giving and endowment initiative. She previously served as a Marketing Director for BBYO’s International Headquarters in Washington, DC and also has experience working in public relations and crisis communications.
Avery holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Maryland, College Park; a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana University; and a Certificate in Informal Jewish Education from Hebrew College in Boston. Avery lives in Bethesda with her husband and two children.
